I am new to this forum..
Hi Everyone. I am new to this forum, and would like to know more about Deca .( from people/females that have used this steriod ) I am 5/4 150lbs and going through menopause, after a having a complete hyst. in 2015. These hot flashes are driving me nutts, and I am gaining a muffin top, which is something I never had before. I am not a vain woman, but I do not what to start getting that middle budge, which I have never had, even after having my children when I was younger.. HELP!! I am a very positive individual, but I am tired of being tired. I took an injection of 100 mg of Deca last night. I was wondering, "When will I start to see some effects from this?" Also I am going to start swimming, and working out again. Should I see some positive results soon. If anyone can give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it.. Thank-you.

Welcome to the forum!
You should post such questions in the Steroid Q&A for more traffic/answers.
Deca is a very long acting version of nandrolone .
It will set in slow and last quite a long time.
A word of warning;
An ex GF of mine took 200mgs of Deca to help with knee pain and also wanted to gain some muscle, but she didn't work out enough.
And the Deca stimulated her appetite, so she ate more and didn't really pay much attention to diet as she never had any excess fat at all before.
After about 4weeks she ended up with a tummy (and good knees, lol),
so she gained quite a lot of fat, and all of it was gained around the waist.
So since you've already taken 100mg, and this won't leave your body for almost a month, you really need to excersize a lot.
And don't drink soda (with sugar at least) and such, just eat healthy,
cause chances are you'll eat more.
So you really need to go to a gym ASAP.
You should feel some increase energy (if you work out),
within a week I'd say. Even more noticeable by week 2.
Swimming is good too, so do that also,
but IMO you'll need resistance excersizes to grow muscle and increase your energy expenditure over several days to avoid fat gain.
You really got started quick and now you need to just follow up.

I'd go see an endocrinologist or possibly your ob/gyn to get on HRT. I'm on it with the addition of testosterone and found it really helped both physically & mentally. A good diet will help with fat loss.
Best of luck and I totally hate hot flashes/night sweats too!
