    Total test.. Weird ref range??

My buddy had his test levels checked while he was on 500 test a week this past Monday. He skipped his morning shot of 250 before the test. His last shot was Thursday prior .

His doctors office uses their own lab and had a reference range of 150-300. He came back at 462 and they asked wtf he was on. Anyway has anyone seen that weird range?

hmmm that is odd. 150 seems okay on the low side but 300???

and 462 seems to be a normal test level on a non aas subject.

    very weird.

Sounds like they are mixing male and female reference ranges.

A score below above 300 ng/dl is often used as the cut-off point for TRT in males whereas a score below 150 ng/dl is used as the cut-off point for ruling out a polycystic tumor in cases of anovulation and hirsutism.

PS sounds like your buddy either has some bunk test or a short estered test as his score should be well above 500 if he has been on his cycle long enough to establish his on-cycle test levels.
