    does EQ shut you down ?

    wondering if eq shuts your hpta system down as i hear some say it doesnt ?

    EQ isn't very anabolic but yes, it will shut you down.

    Equipoise is a spectacular supplementary steroid , in my opinion. It certainly isn't a #1 or #2 in a cycle; however, it is potentially one of my favourite additions to a major bulking cycle.

    The only thing it does a good job at is when used to lube bike chains. EQ is probably the most worthless compound out there. I'd rather just drink a redbull instead.

    To each his own, I suppose. However, the increase in my cardiovascular abilities while bulking, massive increase in appetite, and maintenance of vascularity while increasing caloric intake are all more than enough pro's for me. I like to add about a gram of EQ a week to my major bulking cycles, it has never steered my wrong.

    Hopefully you are doing regular BW. I'd hate to see these amazing results come crashing down when you have a thromboembolic event. EQ will raise your RBCs and the viscosity of your blood. The problem can compound further if estrogen is not regulated properly as this will increase risk of cardiac events.

    The risks of EQ out weigh the benefits. Plain and simple.

    I think bloodwork is absolutely necessary when introducing exogenous hormones. Hell, even when I'm running a low TRT dose of prop, I maintain regular bloodwork - let alone a major bulking cycle (which can include grams of AAS). In terms of managing red blood cell counts, there are multiple means of treatment; personally, I've never had to do anything beyond donate blood. In terms of increased detriment caused by estrogen, again, managing estrogen is a basic necessity when introducing exogenous hormones.

    I'll chalk it down to preference, because I love the stuff, despite the fact very few seem to.

    I agree with your suggestions, but I'd argue BW isn't done often enough and more likely among younger users who are self absorbed with the hopes for enhanced muscle mass.

    EQ is still used, but I believe the majority of athletes in this industry would chose other more effective compounds. I've used EQ but prefer others. Like you said, personal choices, but when it comes down to value for dollar or ROI, I would spend my money on other agents.

    1. Common sense isn't common.
    2. Bloodwork is not performed to an appropriate scale, compared to the introduction of exogenous hormones.
    3. Dollar for dollar, EQ is not a top performer.

    I would never suggest EQ to someone who is financially looking to get the most bang for their buck, it is purely supplemental. However, if you've got the cash, and you want something to really push your cycle over the top, EQ is one of my first suggestions. Test P, Tren A, and EQ... they make my world go 'round.
