Is 1000iu equal to 1000mcg? Cause that's how it comes from my guy

No. You can't use an even conversion like this across the board. All vitamins will vary results when converting IU to mcg. I'd have to look up the conversion rate but I know that 1000 international units of B12 does NOT equal 1000 micrograms. It's considerably more than 1000 mcg's.

Which version of B-12? I heard the m version is better. I have only taken cyn. and notice no benefit at 1,000mcg per day other than little more hungry.

I've never actually gone above 1,000mcg/day, is it that noticeable when you jump to 2,500mcg/day?

If you're trying to get to 1000iu, 2500mcg is closer. You're not going to notice a massive difference either way if you don't have a deficiency. It does help however, some folks don't take to it.

At 1,000mcg/day I felt a slight drop in lethargy, on days in which I should be defeated. However, it wasn't anything over the top. I suppose when you're consuming close to 5,000+ Cals a day, it is pretty difficult to be deficient in nutrition (unless you're on the average American's diet).

IM or SubQ are fine. For ease of practice I'd always just include it in with my juice injections. Mind you, mixing oil-based and water-based compound isn't the safest practice, I never encountered any issues.

Have you tried the M version? The C version has cyanide molecule attached to it. And 2500 would be injecting 2.5ML's everyday. I have never tried the M version but talked to a few people who have taken both and they notice a huge difference between the two - citing the M version is superior.

Only problem is its hard to find Methylcobalamin.

I pin B12 IM I don't feel jumpy or go go go, but it makes me very hungry (which is good) and keeps me not tired.

That's what I originally said! I argued with a doctor about this quite relentlessly, in which I was informed that the process of the bubbling can allow for bacterial growth to be contained and cause cystic growth. This apparently is provides a period of time in which white blood cells have a lessened access to the bacterial growth, than if the substance injected was homogeneous.

If you can prove this wrong, I'd love to rub it in his face. At the time I could not, but decided it was of no importance, I've always mixed my B12 in with my oils.

I've been mixing oil and water for years with no issues. Bubbling? You can inject bubbles with oil, too. No problem at all. Sterile is sterile.

I believe that reference wasn't to air, but rather the way the oil and water mix. You can see visible, contained bubbles of the water-based substance inside of the oil (visually it looks like polka-dots). Again, I'm not concerned with his warning, as I inject the compounds mixed together quite regularly.

To clarify, I wasn't suggesting that Austinite thought the two were equal, but that he was using the b12 measured in mcg's rather than the iu's. And i stand corrected.

    My apologies brother.
