    Freezing HCG

    Hey guys,

I've mixed slightly to much HCG , Will it loose it's potency if I freeze it until I need to use it again. Won't be frozen for more than 5 weeks.

    Thank you

Just keep it in the refrigerator. It wont loose much potency if any in that time.

Read the link, this will tell you how much it will degrade. It's near 100% still at 60 days. I dont think freezing is a good idea once it's mixed if I remember right.

"The only real way to destroy hCG is by freezing and thawing pre-loaded/premixed syringes, as the ice crystals tend to destroy the proteins. If you decide to freeze your mixed hCG, be sure not to re-freeze it, ever. "

I've heard that freezing it in preloaded syringes after mixed is fine. I believe Austinite said he used this method. I've done it before with preloaded syringes, and never had any problems. I'd like to hear more thoughts on this though.

I mix, draw up in syringes, wrap in a freezer bag, put in a Tupperware, and toss it in the freezer, but never refreeze.

    I hope that's a good protocol

    I never freeze anything.

Freezing once is OK, though I prefer that no one freezes anything other than raw powder. Multiple freezes/thaws will damage the product.

I can't understand why anyone on earth, under any circumstances whatsoever, would want to freeze hCG after mixing it. No idea....... Maybe someone can give me a scenario.

I misspoke when saying Austinite used this practice, and I apologize for doing so. It was another knowledgable member who is no longer posting on this board that implemented the freezing idea.

The theory behind freezing the hcg is the notion that it loses potency 30>x<60 days after mixed. Obviously, most cycles would exceed 30-60 days. Also, depending on the size hcg kit mixed, you may have more hcg reconstituted that will be used during its "optimal potency timeframe". To mitigate this problem, it was implied that you mix the hcg with b.water, preload the syringes, appropriately store in the freezer, and use them as needed during the length of the cycle, making sure to never refreeze.

I'm certainly NOT advising that everyone use this practice, I'm simply suggesting that this topic was once covered last year on this forum, and many well respected members that frequently post good advice didn't oppose.

The thread could easily be found.

Mixed it thinking I was starting a cycle on the following day BUT then had a few problems (personal) and have to wait for around 5 weeks now. Don't want it to loose its potency, but obviously it's good for 2 months thanks to your article!

    (I'm cheap)

My first batch of HCG came 15 days old from a compound pharmacy so I loaded the entire vial into syringes and froze them all. Used one at a time after letting then thaw out and had no issues.

As long as you don't thaw out, then place back in freezer, you will be good to go.

Just keep it in the fridge. It will be fine. Even if you have to wait 2 months, it's fine.

True. But there was no need to freeze it. Seems like an unnecessary step with no benefit.

It won't lose potency in 30 to 60 days. Not even a bit. After 90 days, it might lose about 10% potency per month. You would just compensate your dose. It won't go bad.

There's no need to freeze hCG.

This was when I first started TRT and was going by the suggestion of the compound pharmacy. Plus they sent me two mixed vials of 5000iu, both which were mixed 15 days prior to receiving so I freaked out as the bottle had a 30 expire date.

Now I mix my own and place in fridge with no issues.

Yeah pharmacies want you to go back and buy more. Th expiration date is merely the duration it was tested for, not in relation to potency.

Glad some more light had been shed on this topic. Seems like sometime early last year the idea of freezing hcg mixed and preloaded was the way to go and the idea went pretty unchallenged. I think I will go back to not freezing it.

My buddy Ryan has 2 children young enough to go in the fridge, able to read, but too young to open and see whats in the freezer. He freezes his HCG and all his peps and stores them in a tupperware container in back of freezer to keep away from his children.

Teach them not to touch. I keep my HCG , TB500, Adex, liquid stane, BA water and other varios things in the refrigerator. Ive never had one of my kids touch it. They know it's mine, it's medicine and not for them. Simple.

Dont act like it's a big deal or something sneaking and they wont care.

You need at least one female in a relationship to have a kid unless you adopt. lol Just kidding. I'm pretty sure it's not aas related either but I will let him answer or say it's none of your business.
