    Giving blood at my work.

The school where I work is having a blood drive at the end of the month, and I would like to donate. Is there anything that they can test for without first telling me? Thanks.

There's no way they could legally test for something without my knowledge or consent is it?

They're going to prick your finger and test for blood type, hemoglobin, and iron. Then when they send your blood out they will test it for diseases like HIV. Nothing more I have been donating for a few years and my blood has never been rejected. Theres only one or 2 questions that you will have to lie about.

They test for blood diseases like hepatitis and aids. They definitely won't do a steroid test. If you're indulging in recreational goodies, don't give blood.
