Deca 200 for joint support
Hello all,
My name is Robert and I am 36 years old. I have been reading quite a bit about the benefits that can come from using deca 200 for joint recovery. I have always had knee problems and just recently had a surgery to fix a meniscal tear. my question is, for those who have used deca in the past, could using this speed up the recovery process for me and help me to gain more strength in my legs? I have never used any type of steroid before so any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Short response... No. Deca IMO is vastly overrated for joint recovery. If your sole purpose is to speed up recovery then I think it is a poor move. Deca takes 4-6 weeks to "kick" in, at the dose you are suggesting other than a placebo effect you won't benefit in the least. Take into consideration how harsh Deca is being a Nor 19, highly probable that you will come to regret the decision if you go ahead with it.
Hope this is helpful.

Hi Robert.
Deca doesnt heal anymore than any other steroid , what it does is to act like a potent anti-inflamatory, lets say like you were always on high dosage ibuprofen.
... And as a side effect your testicules will cease production of testosterone (yes, sperm too). How do you feel about that?
Edit: Are you talking about the deca 200 in the banner above, or the injectable type?Last edited by Mr.BB; 10-04-2016 at 05:50 PM.

From what i know, low dose deca is supposed to releave joint pain for heavy lifting bodybuilders, usualy the older guys and its normaly used when cycling or on trt
I wouldnt use it as a general aid for recovery from your surgery mate! Your going to potentialy shut yourself down and ask for further problems by using it

Unless you're on TRT, this is not a good choice.

Unfortunately Robert the answer is no. Like others have said previously it will cause you more problems than benefits.

Everyone who's posted is missing the point here!!!!
Deca 200 is not an anabolic steroid ! What you're referring to is not nandrolone decanoate, it's a mostly useless supplement.
As for the real Deca, no to that, but I used the peptide TB500, to heal my meniscus tear.

Two knee surgery on one side and one on the other and waiting for the second. Yep, I got them bad knees. No steroid 's going to "fix" them knees. Deca at low dosage 100mg/wk to 150mg/wk, that's the injectable stuff, acts as an anti-inflammatory and relieves some of the discomfort in the joints. Doesn't fix 'em, just makes them feel better. I've used HGH for a long time and that stuff made my knees feel great.

I don't think so man, like I have had 2 shoulder surgeries, with joint issues. and deca didn't lube them up all nicely and take the pain away or anything

Get glucosamine tabs. They eliminated a lot of pain for me. Eat a tab at every meal and you will notice the difference in joint lube.

There's a lot of anecdotes on nandrolone helping with joints.
Personally I think it does more than just work as an anti inflammatory.
Problem is there's no direct blood supply to "joints", they get what they need from diffusion from cappilaries over to the synovial fluid, which is a much slower process than the direct blood supply to a muscle f.ex.
But I'm in no doubt that using test along with some nandrolone will speed up recovery of joints as well, but there's only so much the body can do, so it's not gonna fix something that wouldn't be able to heal naturally given enough time anyway.

Oh, I see now we aren't talking about nandrolone .
What's in those Deca 200 and other "steroid named" tablets they sell?
I'm more scared of them than "DiNitroPhenol Penis Powder".
Glucosamine is great, actually has some good studies backing it, not only for joint support, but for general health as well.
(Think it prevented AGE's; Advanced Glycosylation Products being formed)

In vet circles Winston is used to help joints.

Winston? As in Winston Churchill? Lol
I don't know what kinda vet circles you frequent, but that is completely incorrect. Winstrol is notorious for causing joint issues.

Well it's used in vet circles for that reason

Let's agree to disagree. I will never recommend Winstrol to anyone for joint support.

Yes, it dramatically increases collagen synthesis promoting healing.
What I'm tired is of ppl confusing joints and tendons, truth is, it is not known the exact mechanism in which stanozolol promotes pain or injuries in joints or tendons.
My opinion? Winstrol dramatic strength increase makes ppl push the limits of their connective tissues.

Check kevin levrone instagram he's on useful knee treatment but I think it's expensive.
Don't use deca for injuries unless you're on TRT or on cycle bc you will have unwanted side effect.
