    Pct wasnt so bad

Just took my last dose of nolva and clomid pct (40/20/20/20 and 75/50/50/50). i started my test e cycle at 165lbs got up to 184lbs and now im 175lbs and seem to be maintaining it along with *most* of the strength i attained. Im 5ft5 and 24 years old. I gotta say even though i wasnt superman anymore i felt pretty damn good during pct. zero side affects and i still feel like im gaining and i get incredible pumps taking 5mg of cialis daily. Im gonna do bloodwork in another 2 weeks to verify that ive recovered. Just figured id share my experience with you guys and maybe offer a little hope to anybody who might be starting pct soon lol. on wednesday i forgot to take my pct dose, should i take an extra dose tomorrow to make up for it even though ive finished my 4 week run?

Good to hear! I can just about promise you though it won't always be that way. Missing one dose wont affect much. I wouldnt bother doubling it.

In two weeks you will still have PCT meds in your system.
Get blood work 8 weeks after you've finished your PCT.

PCT is not the same for everyone. Some don't recover well at all. Personally I recently finished a 26 week test cycle and didnt notice any drop in libido or energy during PCT (though I barely noticed an increase in both energy and libido during cycle...).

26 weeks, that's 2.5 times longer than recommended. You recovered and feel good.

I too felt good during pct. And it wasn't the slightest bad.

Recommended by who? I've seen research studies where they put total newbies on a 20 week test cycle (600mg EW) to see how much muscle they gain.

Personally I think a 10 week Test cycle is a complete waste. Not long enough to see the full benefits of what Test can do for you.

I actually pushed my cycle to 13.5 weeks because i was still gaining. I was always told to stop when the gains stop. If i recover well I'll push it further next cycle.

The only thing I felt bad about was when the test was leaving my system and my strength went down. But then I re-realized myself and found that I got good gains anyway from this.

On the contrary I figured that a constant dose long cycle isnt worth it. Next time I will partition it by having a TRT "backbone" dose throughout and 6-8 week blasts with short acting compounds, with 2 weeks rest on the backbone. I believe that growth happens in phases and all cells adapt and want to attain homeostasis. I am a believer of priming too. I figured my AAS use should be in accordance with my training programming to maximize every strength gain/growth phase. What I found was that there is a point where the gains slow off and make it not worth being on cycle for so long. So instead I'd rather go low dose for 2 weeks, like 175mg test/week, then use a different compound for next blast. So not enough time to get used to a compound, not enough time to lose gains inbetween, and enough time to refresh the receptors (however true this might be).

I agree 10 weeks with a long ester is a waste of time. I saw strength gains only after week 5.5-6. If I would have stopped at 10 weeks, the whole shut down and restart of the HPTA would have been done for a measly 4 weeks of training with heavier loads than usual. I bet that since I am gaining so slow naturally, and have already gotten most of what my genetics can give, those 4 weeks would not have made much of a difference. 6 weeks for the cycle to start, 2 weeks inbetween PCT, 4 weeks PCT, then another 16 weeks off? 32 weeks of hormonal ups and downs for 4-5 weeks of training beyond natural ability, that is indeed a waste of time. Though maybe for a beginner in training who has not yet encountered even a single plateau, these cycles will give them a boost in gains. And the shorter durations would minimize sides. Though I'd rather train really hard and learn how to train myself instead if I was interested in just reaching my genetic potential.
