    Interested in first cycle guidance..

Hey guys, I am interested in doing a cycle of anabolics or even SARMs for the first time... I am here for your guidance and expertise. Here are statistics.

    - Male
    - 21 Years Old
    - Compete in Mens Physique (in case this helps with the type I should take)
    - April 1st (show day) 145 lbs... today 165lbs roughly.
    - Have been training since freshman in high school, I have been training bodybuilding style/intensely for 2 1/2 years now.
    - Low T-lvls run in my family
    - I follow the normal bro diets, 180-200g protein (25p from shake, rest food), 250-300g carb, 50-65 fat.
    - Following up with that, I am a college student and in a "bulk" so I do enjoy my life a little and have fun on the weekends.

    Goals:
    - Being summer, I want to maintain some abs (yes I know, its a longshot...I am about 12-13% right now and I am content with it.)
    - I want to build enough muscle to where I can compete in very competitive shows in fall of 2018.
    - I am using this to get more results, I bust my ass everyday in the gym and work harder and harder each week, just using them to help out.
    - I have thought about kids in the future which is why I want to stay the f*** away from the worst stuff like tren.
    - Lean bulk, maintain abs, build serious muscle by spring 2018 (for spring break haha).
    - I ideally would like to stick w/ orals but I can do injections.

Appreciate all your help in advance!

If you choose to cycle, and I don't suggest it at your age as your endogenous hormones should be at their peak, then follow the Successful First Cycle thread at the top of this forum. Most guys, no matter what stage of life they're in simply do not eat enough to make the gains they desire. Re-evaluate your nutrition and give things time. Building muscle takes time and discipline.

You should think long and hard about what you want from the sport because it needs to outweigh possible irreversible side effects such as infertility, erectile disfunction, low testosterone (which can lead to anxiety and or depression).

Then you should read pretty much all the important threads and a few of the educational ones aswell. You need to know everything you can, to make sure you do it as safe as possible. I still wouldn't advise you using AAS at 21 but it's your call...

If you would have stepped on the stage with me at my last men's physique show I would have outweighed you cut to the bone by 80lbs. And there were dudes bigger than me.

Before you touch anabolics you have to get your nutrition in order, plain and simple. It's good to be book smart and all, but you also need experience. Everyone reacts different to nutrition. Just remember, if you do decide to cycle, it can and will have life long consequences.

To be honest with you, if you're under 225lbs in NPC shows you're competing in the women's division.

I'm almost 6'2 so I look really skinny. Especially in my legs, that's why I wasn't really good at powerlifting and why I can't be in the body builder division. I would to need to be in the 240-250ish range to step up to full on bodybuilding. I can't really put on that much mass and be lean. classic physique is even a stretch for me when it comes to my legs, but I think I'm going to give it a go. I'm really in that inbetween size for anything. For my hieght and depending on the show I think my weight limit would be 210-215 ish. In physique there is no wieght class, just height.

Thats cool, I didn't know you competed. I understand why you got so down after your injury. Watching yourself shrink is terrible.

It's your decision, but if you decide to cycle use the first cycle thread. It is effective.
I guess its like being a party animal. If the first time you "party" you take everything you can get your hands on, you wont know what it is that didn't agree with you, so you will not know how to manage it.
Similarly, your body will respond well to a first cycle because it has never cycled. Like your first six-pack.
