    Whats your egfr?

Just got bloods done and what concerned me was my egfr. I heard the egfr can be very misleading if you workout or have more muscle.

    Posted below are the labs.

Kind if freaking out. Last year my egfr came back at 59.

Barrly in range. Looking at the numbers it puts me at early kidney disease levels.

Saw another poster on here post his egfr was low as well so wondering if the extra muscle mass has a lot to do with it.

Your in range though. Do you have previous labs to show that you have been higher ?

If you are carrying muscle mass that number can be inaccurate as well or at least it will read lower

Didnt really keep up with dr appointments when younger. 31 now and last 3 bloods have been 59, 57, 62. I stopped supplementing creatine as well now so hoping it can improve more as well.

An eGFR around 60 isn't good, but it's not something to worry about yet. Get your BP under control and avoid NSAIDs. Eat healthier too.

If you're worried about your eGFR, what you could do is take astragalus for a month and then get some bloodwork done then post the results to this thread:

    https://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-...-function.html

The more people we get doing this the more data we can compile and find out how useful astragalus actually is at restoring kidney function. And you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

Mine was 53 last time. Im convinced creatine impacts these results as well as muscle mass and tissue breakdown/repair
