Cool 34 Years Old, Strong, and Always Looking to Level Up—Steroid Newbie Seeking Advice

    Hey folks,

    I’m 34, 72kg, 174cm, and here’s a quick snapshot of where I’m at:

    - Deadlift: 200kg
    - Bench: 130kg
    - Squat: 180kg
    - Body fat: 10-12%
    - Skills: Handstands, backflips, sprinting, climbing, and more.

I’ve been training strength on and off for 15 years, and I’ve never touched AAS. Over the last six months, I’ve dialed in my workouts and diet like never before, and I’m feeling stronger than ever. I’m big into gymnastics, climbing, calisthenics, running, yoga, and cycling—basically anything that keeps me moving and challenged.

Diet-wise, I keep it simple and effective:

Protein: Tons of steak, eggs, protein shakes.
Carbs: Pasta, potatoes, veggies, the works.

    Currently, I supplement with:

    Creatine
    Multivitamin
    NADH
    Protein powder (post-workout)
    N-Acetyl Cysteine
    L-Tyrosine
    Ashwaganda
    sulforaphane
    Astaxanthin
    Taurine
    COQ
And a few other micros +

Here’s where I could use some guidance. With a background in chemical engineering and biotechnology, I understand the basics of body chemistry and nutrition, but my knowledge of steroids is minimal.

    Why I’m Considering Steroids:
I want to take my training to the next level—build more muscle mass and improve recovery without compromising my health. Anavar has caught my eye, but I’ve read it’s not great to run solo.

So, to the experienced folks out there:

What would you recommend for someone in my position?
Are there beginner-friendly stacks worth exploring?
What should I keep in mind to balance results and health?
I’m open to learning and appreciate any advice or insights. Let’s keep it constructive—this isn’t a decision I’m taking lightly.

    Thanks in advance!

Welcome, I'm sure you will get other responses, but for now, read through the thread below.
A couple of the recommendations have changed, mainly aromatase inhibitor guidelines

Pull some blood work. You might be a candidate for TRT OR you might discover that your natural numbers are great, and choose not to mess with them.

    That said...

Any steroid cycle you run should be include testosterone . There are people that will tell you differently, but if you are a man, leaving test out of your cycle is a dumb decision.

Are you sure steroids are what you need for your goal? You might be able to do what you want with HGH and a few peptides.

Again, with that said, steroids can be an awesome thing, man, because you can feel like a demi-god on them.

Definitely read the link AG posted above. Read it, understand it, be able to speak to questions like "how should you go about restarting your HPTA?" and "should I start a cycle at 25% bodyfat?" If you do that, you will be ahead of 90+% of the population of users.
