  1. Day 39 - TGIF is TBIF for me

    Good afternoon,

    While the title might be cryptic it tells all about my feelings around this cutting insanity. TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) is not what I feel but TBIF (Too Bad It's Friday) because my weekends are truly uncontrollable sometimes. I have mentioned it many times but trying to figure out how to be on a cutting diet but at the same time not look like an egotistical asshole to ones family takes some doing. My wife do humor me most of the time and my daughter really could care ...

  2. Day 37/38 - Getting through the day

    Greetings reader,

    It is currently taking every ounce of willpower to stay on course. I am constantly playing with my diet plan in Google Docs and if needed I am ready to switch to another approach if the numbers are still as bad this week. My new approach would be 6 days of low-carb and 1 day of high-carb and with a higher calorie value. I will detail this in another post if it becomes reality. Right now, I am trying to get through the day without swallowing my iPhone.

  4. Day 35 - Added some calories this week

    Hi,

    I added some calories this week to see if that will help the fat loss. Yes, seems counter intuitive but being to low can do nothing but hurt the progress.   5. Day 33/34 - Weigh-in day and added body fat value

    Dear reader,

    This past week was, from a food perspective less than optimal. Saturday we had a party where lots of food were consumed and on Tuesday I had my birthday and food were consumed. I had already decided in my mind that if I managed to lose any weight at all this week I would take it as a success. So without further delay here are this weeks number and I have now started to add the body fat value to each weigh-in.
