I am 30 yrs old , 6 ft 3in, 218 pounds. I am new here and have been doing push ups, sit ups and curling 35 pound dumbbells for the last 3 years nothing big. In the last 3 months I have been more serious about lifting I have purchased a cable machine and a treed mill along with a curl bar and some dumbbells for home use. I also have a membership at a local gym and have a gym that I use 4 times a week at work. My regular workout is as followed: I run 1 mile and do 3 sets of 10 reps on every thing that the machine at my works gym has to offer and about 15 to 20 min on the row machine. I also do 4 sets of 20 push ups and 8 sets of 10 curling each arm 35 lb dumbbells. Recently I have been lifting 50 lb dumbbells and hit fail after 10 then rest and do 10 more then 8 then 5. I do all of this 4 days a week. The remaining 3 days a week i just do 4 sets of 20 push ups and 6 sets of 10 curling each arm 35 lb dumbbells and run .5 miles before every work out. I also mess around with my cable machine when I am not working throughout the day for fun. I have been taking why proten for about 3 months 2 scoops within 20 min after every workout.
I am open to criticism and am sure I am doing things wrong I want the info and help. I also am interested in steroids I would be lying if I said that I was not but I haven't because for 1 I want to be smart about how I do them and for 2 because the research I have done so far tells me that most everything is a scam. I did not join this form for just a roid contact but more for your help in making me become more fit and learning how to complete my goal.
