    News On My Shoulder Injury

Well it looks like my old thread got deleted. Long story short I hurt my should doing Military press. I was in a hurry didnt warm up and felt a rip. I didnt lift for like 3 weeks. Now I have statred again but keep it light and no shoulder or incline bench. For regular bench I have to do CG.

I saw the trainer today and finaly found out what is wrong. I injured my supraspinatus (one of the rotator cuff muscles). SHe told me the injury was due to the fact that I have worked my chest moreso than my back. She said it caused an in balance in my rhomboids and teres major compared to my chest. It is out of wack therefore doing a heavey above the shoulders lifted caused the strain or possible slight tear. She told me to do light back rows for high reps and pinch my shoulder blades together. She said thet would help my shoulder. She also told me that for delts only do light lifts it will build then better and quicker without injury. She said theis about back rows too. She said people think they have to go heavey but light rows will do alot more than you think.

Thanks for the info. I read and it said if with the light weight there is pain stop and keep it lighter. I have pain without even using away weights if I lift my left are, rotate it, or even lean on it. Would you still reccommend trying those exercises?
