You're going to thank me, I would look into Cissus RX by USP, it does wonders for tendonitis. I swear by the stuff and I know other who have had great luck with it.
Peace,
CR

I tried Cissus RX, I did not help me out. Stay away from Tri-ext with the EZ bar!

in my experience this can help prevent the initial irritation but once my elbows get out of whack nothing but time off and ibuprofen gets rid of it. starting back too early only increases the healing time.
'i dont know about you guys but i've never actually hurt mine in the gym. the movements are too controlled. I hurt mine by throwing anything hard or armwrestling. Which I hate because I get challenged to that every now and again and I feel like a bitch for whining about my elbows and saying I cant! No one ever buys that excuse but that exact movement in one single arm wrestling match will put me out for 2 weeks easy.

if it does not go away within a couple of weeks you probably don't have an itis problem and have a tendonosis problem which is a overuse injury from repetitive motion and the body does not have the ability to heal itself,i have been dealing with it for a couple of years and its been a thorn in my side, when problem first arose i kept working out and did not change routine or intensity,i had to stop workingout after doing that for about 3 months,i did not workout for about 3-4months, so don't be a hard head you will pay for it in the long run,if you need to take more time off do it,when you start back start with low intensity in volume and wt,use an arm wrap and do not do any movements that cause pain, one of the worst ones for me right now are side laterals.
