Calf pain when running
Usually for cardiovascular exercise I do swimming. The reason for this is because whenever I try to run my calf muscles tighten up and go numb. It's quite painful to continue running, and when I stop after running a few miles it turns into a sharp pain for several seconds.
Due to this, I can't run more than a few miles, not because of exhaustion but because of calf muscle pain.
My calf muscles feel fine after an hour of resting.
I do alot of anaerobic exercise on my calf muscles. I was wondering if the reason for this was because of using weights to build up my calfs? If so, I'll have to stop training them.
