Lower back pull
So about 1.5 weeks ago I was doing some warm up squats and on my second warm up set I pulled a muscle in my lower back. It was just sudden and unexpected. So I have been out from proper training and just doing what I can starting a few days ago. Went to the doc and he said to take it easy. So I have been doin that. Now I went to a trainer that helped me rehab my back. She said I was in real good physical health but said I need to do more of the core training style workout. You know the workouts where you stand on one foot on top a half ball and do curls or bench press on a ball. I told her I was a bodybuilder and she said I NEEDED to do these to be in complete health. Now I do train my core with deads, squats, lower back extensions, leg raises, crunches, etc. Unfortunately I havent really done any heavy leg workouts due to the test prop (that I stopped after my third injection) cramping me up for two weeks and now this. Lost size in my legs and lost weight but I am getting back into the swing of things. Anybody have any suggestions on this, do I really need to work on balancing and doin those core style workouts????

The bridge is a great core exercise. As for your shot cramping you up... the only thing to do for that is pretty much rub it out and suck it up and work through it. I know it sucks but theres no way around it.
In basic training, when we were givin the penicillin shot they gave us the day off for PT... but beat the piss out of us the following days at the indoor gym. You legs will get used to the abuse.

Are you stretching properly also? Probably the most important part of a work out is the warm up and stretch session.

Thats where I messed up probably didn't stretch my lower back. I always stretch my quads and hamstrings before squats. I also do leg extensions before I start my squats. I need to start stretching out more completely before such a intense workout. Now with my test prop hurting I just didn't see the point in continuing shots that were cramping me up so bad. It was impossible to do anything, why take the chance of really messing myself up just cause I want to take steroids . I mean there was no way I was gonna squat 315 and 405 with my leg being unable to flex or move correctly. Now the glutes weren't too bad but was I gonna just go between them eod for 8 weeks, hell no. And I could only image what it would have been like if I would have put it in my shoulders, I'd just be one big cramped up retard.
For me my training and diet come first then the drugs and supplements.
