Shoulder Injury Help
July 21st 09 i was benching and dropped the bar and i had a terrible pain in my shoulder. i didnt go to ortho till september 20th and i got a mri , i tore my long head of my bicep connecting to my shoulder...i was told to rest for 8 weeks...i did then went to do presses ( chest and shoulders) and i was good for a month then the pain came back...then i went back and doc said just rest more . so i rested for 2 months and did PT for a month.. then just got back to the gym a month ago...i was good for a month then i got more nagging pain benching....
any advice?
this is been killing me for the last year.
i can do everything besides chest and shoulder presses.

dude this might sound pretty obvious but I would def. go for a second opinion, surgery might be somethin you want to consider but then again thats more rehab time and more time outta the gym... I was in a really bad car accident in December and havent really been the same since, my shoulder is kinda messed up, my elbows and wrists usually always hurt, im currently seeking further advice myself, if I come up with anything though ill let ya know

I tore/stretched mine or as the PT said shredded it about 6+ years ago. It still hurts from my shoulders down to my elbow but it's all on the side of the arm from the shoulder.
I find doing a lot of warm up helps and stretching. Do the broom stick or band exercise, this has helped the most but like I said, it still hurts.
