So probably about 3 years ago i tore my right hammy from sprinting in baseball

so i went to my dr and he said ya its seems like you tore it so he set me up for a
ultra sound

so being in canada it took forever to get in for an appointment by then my hammy felt fine and the results of the ultra sound said there was some brusing

So last year playing baseball again the same thing happend and i didnt go back to the dr i just stretched it a few times a day

i also have a pysiotheripist on my team and he stretched me out all the time and he said it didnt feel like a tear. i workout my hamstring and when i run doing cardio it feels ok

But baseball starts this week and if it happens again i dont know whats going on

does it sound like i may need surgery cause it didnt properly heal the first time ?
any advice on what the problem may be would be great Im tired of being afraid to run
