Nair for hair removal, no shaving
I haven't read on any bodybuilding forums about Nair. A girl actually told me about the stuff. I went to the store and sure enough there it was. A 9zo bottle of liquid shaveless hair removal for $4.50.
I tried it. The bottle says use a thick coat for 3 minutes. If that doesn't work, then keep it on for no longer than 10 minutes.
I tried a medium coat for 3 minutes and nothing happened. I started to wonder, then tried again with a thick coat and waited just over ten minutes. I covered my entire legs and stomach (and still have a 1/4th of the bottle left over). You have to wipe the stuff off with a damp towel then shower afterwards. By the time I got to the final hair, it must have been close to 15 minutes.
Either way, IT WORKED! 2 hours of shaving brought down to 15 minutes of Nair. Completely hairless. How do you like that?
I kept it on for 15 minutes (over the 10 max) though. I took a shower right away as directed and that stuff burned and I am talking a stinging, stinging sensation. I felt like chewing up a pain reliever for immediate relief but remembered I had plans.
Bottom line: I used it for 15 minutes. It worked 100%. It burned.

That shit stinks!!! Tried it once and that was all for that garbage. It takes me about 10 minutes to use my Norelco on my upper half. No problem.
But good for you if you like it...

I think nair sucks. And it take no where near 2 hours to shave

I also used Nair had it on for about 10 minutes worked but burnt as you said and left me feeling skin raped...Hell the stuff is Lye after all. Got a Norelco Bodygroom mens body shaver, rechargable, can use wet or dry as well as in the shower. Great results...fast..no burn..close shave but no knicks or removed nipples ;-0.. like a blade

You from Ireland arent you bro? I was in the UK for a couple of years and spent some time up in Merseyside, Skelmersdale, Liverpool, that neck of the woods. I wouldnt be openly admitting to a full body shave either around those boys. They'd have you hung by the heels and you'd never step foot inside the local again!

A couple of us can contest to the fact that if you leave nair on your chest/nipples for 10 minutes they will bleed. LOL Not really fun having scabbed nipples for a week or more.
Shaving only takes 15+ minutes using an electric and no need to go down to 0, leave it at 1 and you never have to worry about razor stubble.

Nair burns my skin. Lawnmower works well on my back. Just make sure you lay flat.

interesting thread - i burned the shit out of my chest trying nair- and it didnt work! ended up shaving
about legs - I like to shave them every once in a while, cause I'm so hairy I cant see and definition or vascularity. It helps me gauge my progress. But I get TONS of ingrown hairs so its not worth it all the time. a
anyone have a solution to ingrown leg hairs?

Nair is great for hair removal. First time I used it I got mad ingrown hairs on my chest and stomache, but the next time I used it almost none.

Nair is good. but don't use it if you compete. It makes your self tanner come out weird. I think it's b/c it doesn't remove the hair very deep in the follicle...Not sure but it looks weird!
