Rotator cuff tear
Just a yes or no question
I tore my right shoulder rotator cuff and my doctor is pressuring me to have surgery.
It's been about 4 months I feel it getting stronger but still have pain when working out.
So the question is to have the the surgery yes or no.

If you felt improvement I would go to physical therapy and do certain exercises to strengthen your rotator cuff and ice twice 3 * a day

Agree with the above.
Simple answer NO, dont do surgery if it's getting better.
Mine was getting a little better but it had been almost 1 year so I had it fixed. 4 months later it's improving but slowly.
If mine had improved after 4 months before surgery I would not have had it done. My other shoulder was like yours. It took almost a year but it got better almost 100%

Thanks guy's
I did go to physical therapy and still doing the rotator exercises
I did not want to do the surgery sense it’s my right shoulder I would be out of commission
For too long. I had the same thing on my left shoulder 2 years ago and it never got back to 100%
It still snaps and pops I just dont go heavy any more it sucks getting old the arthritis is killing me.

Do not do the surgery unless the pain stops you from doing what you want to do. I tore both had left one fixed will not do the right unless I can not longer lift of golf. You may have to modify your work outs ie no overhead lifts or barbell bench. at least not all the way to chest.
