    One leg lifts?

Is it OK to only train one leg if the other is injured?

Yes. Just expect to have some muscle imbalance that you'll have to make up for once you're healed up.

i'm coming back froma total hip replacement in january. i didn't do any leg lifting until two weeks ago. i've started now LIGHTLY, and am doing single leg extension, curls, and split leg squats to drive each to failure. my recovering leg is significantly weaker and this way i know i'm maximizing workout.
