this is just my 2 cents and opinion . but if your young and your trying to grow, I'd look into modifying your training split. doing one body part per week works great for maintenance, it also works great for 300 pound pros that put so much homeostatic stress on each muscle group they can only hit it once per week ,, but my guess is , for example on chest day , your probably bench pressing 275 for maybe 8 reps. thats not a ton of load and you can recover from that in a few days. so I'd change your split up so you hit each body part at least twice per week . again , your young and trying to grow, you gotta maximize your training.
example
mon - chest and shoulders (can add in tricep)
tues - back , traps, and rear delts (can add in bicep)
weds - legs
thurs - off
fri - arms
repeat
you can switch things up as needed.. but point here is to hit each body part more frequently then once per week
