    Is it necessary to continue weight training while dieting or is cardio enough?

    Regardless of whether you're on a bulk, cut, or maintenence, the combination of proper weight training, goal-focused dieting, and "45-60 min/65-75%/empty stomach" (optimally) cardio, is key to obtaining the physique desired.

    youll have much better results for fat loss if you continue to wt train..

    If you want to hold on to as much muscle mass as possible then yes.
