Abs are the most important thing to train. They bring your whole physique together.
You will look 100 times better if you have a sixpack.
you have to work them out harder on every work out. Not like most other muscle groups where you maybe increase intensity and resistence on every third or fourth.
Every workout has to be harder than the last.
That is what works for me.
Before my spinal surgery, I used to be able to hang upside down and do curl ups holding 2x45lb plates.
You could break a baseball bat on my abs and I would laugh at you.
Not to mention strong abs give you good posture and that makes you look even stronger.
There are hundreds of good ab workouts,
Just remember to breath right (exhale when you go up inhale when you go down)
squeaze you abs tight as you can the whole time, I mean squeaz them tight.
Control your movement, and increase resistance and intensity on every workout.
I think doing abs 3-4 days a week is good.
If I do them less than 3 I feel like they get weaker and I loose progress.
But everyone is different on how long it takes to heal. So do what you think is good for you but follow the rest of my advice.
