    Ahh Damn :(

I'm not sure what exactly is going on with me, I've been tired and lethargic lately... but I definitely hit my chest/back too hard when i worked them out (yes, separately..haha) and i'm way sore. should i just keep out of the gym and rest up or can i train legs? any advice

You can go ahead and train legs if your back/chest is sore. One bodypart on me is always sore while I am training a different one. Just manipulate your split so those muscle don't interfer with each other as a sore back might interfer with stabilization during a squat. If you are gettting that sore, I might consider reducing the volume or making changes to your workout. The muscle needs a stimulus, that's it.
