Yeah, go get some padded gloves with wrist wrap support. You need to keep your wrists straight to focus on the chest.
which are you doin.... barbell or dumbbells? If your doin barbell, switch to dumbbells, they are better for bodybuilding anyway. If you are doin dumbbell, get some gloves that wrap the wrists, to keep them locked. also, if its a joint issue, try supplementing glucosamine for a few months, thats what my doc told me to do when my shoulder was goin bad from football, and it worked, just takes about a month to work.
