which split should i go with

i have currently been doing this:
    mon: bi/s tri/s
    tues: legs
    wed: off
    thu: chest/delts
    friday: back
and i really worry about overtraining so most here would approve of my set rep scheme for each workout as i have seen other posts. so to save time i want put all this in

    should i change to
    mon: chest
    tues: back/bi's
    wedff
    thursda: legs
    fri: shoulder/tri's

    or

    mon: chest/tris
    tues: legs
    wed: back/bis
    thursday off
    fri: shoulders?

or any other ideas would be helpful.

The second routine is good. Why dont you do Chest/Tri and Shoulder/Trap?

Chest and Tri is great because the 2 best exercises for triceps involve the Chest. Doing Chest and Tri's together equals better recovery.

yea i really want to do chest and tri together but if i do tris the day before bi's i feel like i am streching out my tris from recovery while they are sore.

There is absolutely no problem with triceps the day before biceps...you will not have any problems with your triceps recovering.

    Another option...
    MON: Chest/Tris
    TUE: Quads/Abs
    WED: Rest
    THU: Back/Bis
    FRI: Shoulders/LowerBack/Hams

*On Thur when I do back I leave out all lower back work, then on Friday when I do Hams I incorporate compound movements that will also work my lower back.

I don't do shrugs to directly target the traps like most of the guys do, and I hit traps as a secondary muscle for different exercises. For example, on THU (Back day) I do the following exercises for my back:

    Chin-ups
    Lat Pull - Wide Grip
Cable One Arm High Row (traps, primary muscle)
    T-Bar Row

On FRI (Shoulder day) I do the following shoulder exercises:

Cable Rear Lateral Raise (traps, secondary muscle)
Dumbbell Side Laterals (traps, secondary muscle)
Dumbbell Military Press (traps, secondary muscle)
