    Is this normal?

    I am 5'6 175lbs right now.

My deadlifts have been going up pretty good. I am currently at 335lbs for about 6-8reps. I don't use straps till after i get past 225lbs and at the end of all my 5 total sets, 3 working sets i am SPENT. Now today i went to do my seated cable rows and my forarms felt like they were ready to explode so i used straps which makes me no longer worry about grip. I have done 170lbs before but it seems i cannot push myself to get back to 170lbs without F'in up my form. Also my hammer lat pulls are at 135lbs for each arm like normal and i feel as if i bump it up 5lbs my arms are going to fall off. What i am getting at is , Is it normal for your first exercise to keep increasing in weight but then the rest of the workout sort of suffer ? or am i just being a biotch ?

When I workout I do the larger muscle groups for for example I work chest and Tris on one day and the chest is the first muscle group followed by tris. Something like deadlifts I would have move to the middle of my workout so that I could work a targeted muscle group first and then go to the more compout movements with the final group being the smaller muscle groups. Thats just me though and I dont have thee problems you are explaining when doing this. If I change it up and started with something like deadlifts first I would be spent for the entire workout.

i would say if you always do a certain exercise first in your routine then you would definitly increase the weight of that exercise more than the ones that follow. although your other exercises should still be moving up in weight just much more gradually.

make sure you get plenty of fuel otherwise your intensity will definitly die down real quick.

i would try mixing up the order every once and a while, although i usually do the heaviest exercises first because they take the most energy and i think i benifit the most from the heavy exercises.

i would also say this is completely normal, for example if i do heavy incline bb presses and then do flat, of course i will use A LOT less weight than i could if i started with them because my muscles are already fatigued.
