    Cutting Advice

This thread is mostly directed to those who have competed and have either stumbled upon or formulated effective ways to cut. I have always cut for wrestling but I always ended up losing motivation to continue a healthy diet. I am familiar with it but now I want to do it right. I have some ideas but more advice would be great. I do have a few questions. Nutrition wise, what would be a recommended amount for caloric intake throughout the majority of the cutting phase to reduce atrophy. Secondly, would it be wise to utilize any hormonal or anabolic agents to help with burning fat and reducing atrophy. This also goes for any supplements such as thermogenics, HMB, ZMA...anything. Lastly, what would be a recommended type of training schedule? Say for example, high volume, low weight, high reps; or low volume, moderate weight, moderate reps. I know it is dependent on me, but once again, any ideas would be great for experimentation. Thanks a lot.
