    Total Lower lymbar reconstructed...

its been 2 yrs since my last surgery... L 1 down to L 5 all steal.. I've been through the pain of the rest of my spine realigning with the now installed steal... The rest of my back is not in good shape via a painfull disk test. ( they pump iar into disk space to check PSI with pain) I failed..I have a piched nerve in my neck and went blind in my right eye... its back but still blurryCt brain scans CTA intracranials this week... I have severe full body pain from nerve damage and pinched nerves... hips...knees numb feet left side is worse S 1 is crushed with scar tissue around it... arms go numb when laying down due to pinched nerves in my elbows... sleep..haha what sleep... been to rehab 4 times with no results.. I've been told over and over from rehab to surgens to nuroligists they dont know what to do... or even where to start... When this started they said I would never walk again!!!!! BS THEY WHERE SO WRONG!!!!!

so I ride the bike 40 minutes to an hour a day!
I use alot of hammer strength machines and cable machines for my workouts. Everything I do is slow Controlled and perfect form. I dont do to failure..close but i stay away...

My midsection is my problem... haha well more than a problem...

I really need advise for What excersises you think can work for me. I have a few that i do now but i would like to here if anyone is in my position or knows anyone that is and what works for them....

I know this might be pissing in the wind but I'm getting really good at it LMAO

Thanks everyone you have no idea how much your advise means to me

    Thanks again

    Hey KAEW44

I had a granite company and i was unloading a 400lbs piece from my truck and walking backwards kicked a man hole cover... it sounded like a deck of cards and then my legs went numb... I didnt walk for 8 months after that... as far as pain... once u say **** the meds and let ur body adjust to the insane pain lever u r in its not as bad as u would think... I suxs but i can walk and wipe my own ass..lol All i think about at the gym is FORM!!! **** the extra rep with all the extral movement most people do... I'll go for a negetive rep long before i will break my form....

If I inspired you well that means alot to me... tnx for the reply

as far as still goin. When u get hurt like this your mind does not stop for a second to even let you think you cant do anything. It works the oppisite it tells you you can do everything just ur body cant! It is a mental battle u have to get used to..

i amsure you had to go to therapy, what did your dr's and therapists recomend? my recomendation would be to strengthen your core stabilizers, stick with more machines as opposed to free weights, and donr push your limits, listen to your body

    Doc,
Well the one YOUNG therapists did recomended to strengthen my core stabilizers like you said. but they also said not to do so until my spine realigned with the new steal that was put in. unless they installed it with a lasor level and a tee square lol it will not be in the exact position that is was... and OMFG is thats a painfull little realignment of I'd say almost 2 years of spasims... OUCH yes like a leg cramp without being able to bend it to make it stop!!! try it sometime lol... oh and another thing thats has helped me with my walking was to walk in a pool as much as possibile with LONG strides keeping back up straight pushing water with my abs tight and palms open for resistance.. I can say that alone has me walking without a cane most of the time!!!! and yes NO CANE NO HIP PAIN LIKE IT WAS!!! wooo hooo I was looking at starting a core workout using the ball? I'm just scared to fall off the ball so im picking away at it slowly just sitting on it and rotating around to start under a bar to hold onto.. would love to get my legs on the ball facing down to pull legs up to a almost headstand position but feet r still on the ball..

If i can remember something else i 'll post it

    tnx for the help Doc

    Hey KAEW44,

well its very slow.. alot of limits.. well its dam right painfull to be honest! But if you ever see me doing crunches you'd be like that dudes not moving WTF is he doing.... well if my abs are tight as hell and i can move 1/2" I'll take it... If i had to describe what my type of crunchs feel like.... ok so hold a 100 lb plate on your chest and do cruches.... BUT for me it feels like the 100 lbs plate is in your hands over your head with you arms streached out.. now do a crunch.... its almost like pushing a brick wall.... its NOT ganna move but your ****ing wiped out tryin!!!!
