    Bulking

    ok so i have been eating a large amount of food lately for the past month or two...and my pant size went from a 33 to a 34.. am i gaining more BF or just growing? i am 5'11 and 197 lbs. last time i scaled last week and that was the first time i scaled in the 2 month period, prior to the bulking i was around 189?? my lifts are going up i know i am gaining some quality muscle but i want it to be as lean as possible, any advice if i am just growing or gaining fat?

    how often are you training? weights? and cardio if you are?

    4 times a week training, cardio is on a minimal, and diet is sitrict to all hell, no cheats ever..
    chest bi monday
    legs tues
    wed off
    delt/trap thurs
    back/tri fri
    sat off
    sun off

    my lifts are going up at a nice rate but i am scared of my pant size

    Get some bodyfat calipers and take reading of your bodyfat each week. When your bulking you put on both fat and muscle, its your genetics which determine the amount of each. Steroids also affect this.

    good advice, my local school gym should have a caliper test? or will i have to go to a world gym or big town gym?
