I'm out of shape.. I got good size but i feel like shit. I think its cause I couldn't comfortably even jog a half a mile. (Plus diet has been bad this last month, but thats a diff problem)

Focusing on getting into shape.

I am thinking of running every morning.
What is a good goal to set for myself
Would getting up to and running a mile every morning, be good enough?
or should i got 2-3?

My concerns are I dont wanna to lose much or any weight, so that will want me to limit the amount i run.
I do want to improve my cardiovascular system tho, so that means getting the beats goin, even half a mile will do that trick at this point.,
