Whenever i do squats or work out large groups of muscles at the same time, start feeling dizzy, like i cant get enough blood to my brain. I could squat around 250lbs, but im forced to squat round 180, because of this issue.
Any ideas?

squats always make me sick lol
i threw up once. i believe its somewhat due to the intensity
are you breathing???
Yeah im breathing, i dont hold my breath when i lift, i still get dizzy.
i bet you are not breathing correctly,
I breath correctly... But maybe you're talking about lack of circulation... ie; I do 3 sets, 1st is 15reps, 2nd = 10reps, 3rd = 5reps... The 3rd set is the heaviest but the easiest... I hate the first set because by the time I get to rep 10 my arms start going numb due to lack of circulation.
does any1 else have this happen to them???
i always feel like puking after i squat.....i don't necessarily get real dizzy, but when my sets are done and overwith- on my drive home, i know i should eat, but i just want to barf thinking about food
Same man... I usually have to wait a couple of hours just to eat and can barely stomach the PWO shake. Otherwise on other days I can't wait to get home and dig inOriginally Posted by qualityclrk1

when i do 20rep squats my arms do the same thing... but useually by the end my legs hurt so bad i dont feel my arms untill after i re-rack the weights. i just deal with that.
Improper breathing was my first thought as well.
Brotus, you should consider doing more than three sets on one of the best exercises on the planet..Originally Posted by unclemoney
