Is it WORTH running twice a day to burn fat? AM CARDIO and 15 interval pwo?

With school and summer i fell into a hole not lifting and eating crap all day. I havent been back in the gym strickly for a good 4 months but I want to get back in but Ive gained more fat than i want. My chest looks like shit and a mini tire circles my stomach. I was wondering how would running in the AM with an empty stomach and running inverval 15 min after the days work out? i would prolly do taht on days i dont have school so maybe 3-4 times a week and the rest of the week do either or depending on the day.

I would be taking lipo6x before the day starts and before my workout but I was also wondering how would creatine work with the pwo shake?

My diet is going to be very similar to cutting eating meals like
    1st meal
    5 eggs
    cup of whey 25g
    half cup oatmeal

    2nd
    grill chicken/tuna or steak salad
    tsp flax or olive oil

    3rd
chicken/tuna or steak or 5 eggs
    whole wheat or rice

    WORKOUT

    4th
    1 1/2 cups of whey 35-40g
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    {tsp creatine? and dex?}

    5th
    chicken/steak/of fish
    1/2 cup rice

    6th
cup of whey 25g with tablespoon of natty PB

please give me your opinions of if i can do that kind of cardio and if the use of creatine is worth it. i am 5 11", 175, not sure about fat% maybe 20-25%

I was running 5-10k 3 times a week but i wanted to do it just for fitness so i wasnt using it as cardio,it lost me a lot of body fat and got me in good shape to start a cycle, but i hated every minute of it because im just not made for running.

Your problem is not too little cardio, it's too many carbs! Once a day (in the morning or post workout) is plenty for what you are trying to accomplish.

I would suggest eating no more than 40 grams of carbs per day Monday-Saturday in order to enter a state of ketosis. Then carb up some on Sunday if you really want to rip the fat right off your body!

hmm never thought carbs would hurt.. but i will most def try that... carbs only once in the AM or PWO but i always felt it was crucial for carbs in the AM AND PWO? maybe i should just keep it with the AM shake and PM MEAL? and no carbs in PWO shake?

Carbs produces insulin which is a fat storage hormone.

You will get a trace amount of carbs through out the day. They key is to stay in ketosis. If you eat a very low carb diet yet do not enter ketosis, blood sugar levels will become unstable. I would not concentrate on post workout carbs unless you are bulking. Pre-workout carb are of more imporance during a cut but over-all carbs (consuming below 40 per day) is the main thing to foucus on so you will remain in ketosis. Plan on feeling like crap for the first 3 days or so until you start burning ketones for energy.

This diet should not be used long term. It's merely a way to get ripped so you can return to your normal diet and be leaner.

so this is what i did for the day
took lipo6(fat burner) and did am 45min 65%rate cardio

about 9 hours later i took lipo 6 again and lifted and after my workout i did 15min HIIT running 2min low 2 min high.

post work out i took teaspoon of creatine with my shake..

now one of you guys says its alright to take creatine with a fat burner but i was doing some research and this is what it read...

"l said before that it is not good at all to take Creatine with Caffeine, but there is something more here. Think about one of the most major functions that Creatine is doing. lt causes water retention inside the muscle cell, right? Now think about one of the most major actions of Caffeine! (If you wonder why l am talking about Caffeine again, keep in mind that at least 90% of fat burners contain Caffeine or "Guarana" which is basically Caffeine in herbal form.) lt causes frequent urination. So from one side you have to drink more water because of Creatine, but at the same time you have to go to bathroom more often. The final result? Very possible dehydration and muscle cramping.

You want to lose some unnecessary fat pounds ladies and gentlemen? Fine, take your fat burner, reduce your calories, and increase your cardio! You want to gain some muscle pounds? Take a good Creatine supplement, and increase your food consumption! You want to get more muscles, but at the same time you want to lose some unnecessary pounds? Sorry, out of the question! Decide what you want to do first, and don't believe the hype: "l got 10 muscle pounds in 8 weeks, and at the same time l lost 20 fat pounds"! (Yeah right!)"

if im correct it says basically it will cause high dehydration but what if i just drink lots and lots of water? =P

also i took your advice and im gonna try out just carbs in the one meal at AM see how it works

Use the Harris-Benedict formula to estimate your current caloric needs. Subtract 500 calories and eat that for awhile. Eat a balanced diet consisting of small meals of lean meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, and starches in moderation. If you are not hungry every 2 hours, you are eating too much. Being hungry is part of losing weight. Get your ass in the gym.
