    Overhead squat

ANyone perform these? I've just started doing them myself and ofcourse cant do them with much weight.

The question I got is do you lock your elbows or not? How wide is your grip?

I find If I dont lock my elbows then I feel as if the bar is pulling back and is really stretching my shoulders.... But ofcourse not locking the elbows is gonna limit what I can lift because now Im trying to hold whatever weight above my head and im using my arms, shoulders etc to do so...

locking the elbows will actually make your core work harder

Which is one of the reasons I choose to do to do them...

Guess I'll be locking the elbows.. You use a snatch grip as well?

Tried them today... Felt pretty good. did 3 sets of 8 at 95 lbs... Still getting comfortable with them.... I can do more but Im gonna work up to it...

Is there any method u use to bring the bar back in front of u from behind? It feels alittle weird with the arms locked out... Mostly in the shoulder as I bring the bar in front to bring it down to my chest and rack it.

Anything to take some of the strain out of the wrist? Its not that bad but more comfort the better.
