    Will THIS routine help with bulking up??

    One of the instructors at my local gym recommended i train each body part twice a week. So day 1 & 3 would be the same as day 2 & 5.

    Also, the reps are all between 10-15

    I am not a novice, but also not an expert. this way goes agains tall that i have been told.

    Please advize

    can you be specific the way it sounds is you do every muscle everyday. keep the reps between 6-8

    You need to be more specific. How is 1 and 3 the same as 2 and 5?

    To build mass you have to stay on low reps, like admirals says, and IMO train each bodypart twice a week is not a good idea, because smaller muscles could go easily in overtraining and you could put'em in a catabolic state, and this is not what you want, huh?

    I do chest,shoulder & arms on a monday and thursday and i do back,legs & abs on a thursday & friday.

    I spoke to the guy at the gym, who does body building as well, and he said that he does the same type of routine. The guy is not small, but i also know what CL is saying about overtraining.

    The reps is also what bothers meal between 8-15 and back and legs 10-20.

    The instructor said i should try it for a month or 2 and c.

    To each their own but i would throw that routine in the garbage. I agree with CL totally. Never been a fan of hitting them twice a week. Admiral says stay between 6-8, agree with that also. I go between 2-4 occasionally. Check out other peoples routines and you'll get a better idea.
