Say your buying steroids offline from a foreign country outside the USA, and as the package gets to American mail, it gets seized.

What do the cops do?
Will you get arrested?
Or do they just send a letter saying it was seized?

PS - I'm talking about small orders, enough for only one person

and scan&email the letter to your source they should resend the package no charge to a new address/name

dont order to the same address. it will just get seized again. and raise a red flag...

I got the second shipment so I am not sure the red flag works that well.

but why chance it? most sources are smart enough not to resend to the same address because a second package stopped to the same address can mean a controlled delivery or at least a stop from a postal inspector

There is no "red flag" system. With the massive volume of mail that goes through the system every day, checking every piece of mail against a database of "red flag addresses" is impossible.

Yes and no, all mail can not be checked but your address and your name (hopefully a fake name) will be entered into the DHS/ICE database. All that means if they do scan your mail/package (coming overseas) then it gives them even more reason to search your shit.

There are three things they can do, 1) send you a seizure letter giving you 30 days to claim the items. 2) same as 1 but with a fine, 3) do a controlled delivery with the local cops and charge you by that cities laws and hoping you can roll on others.

can i please make an announcement:

Customs and Border Patrol sieze packages that they find coming from over seas. Let me repeat that: over seas. If you have a domestic US source they have already taken the risk of importing the goods past customs. If your pakage is being sent from the continenal US to the continental US, its not going to be siezed. The only way you will get in trouble is if its terribly packaged or someone calls 1-800-TIP-LINE or they are already onto you, in which case you're getting snagged either which way.

there most certainly is. i have no clue were your getting your info but i assure you that your address can be flagged and any other packages scanned to that address will be searched if the return address isnt known

we have far too many threads popping up on the open boards talking about illegally importing gear. we are here to provide usage advice on compounds, posting threads like this is just plain dumb, in my opinion. I wonder how many of these people are surfing behind a truly secure proxy server, and how many are just advertising their intent to beak the law. I don't really have to wonder though, because I can view ip addresses, and sadly most of these threads could lead me or LE right to the poster. Be smart, people.

It's the government. They can do whatever the hell they want, so when they feel like sending you a letter they will. Ask your source if there were any problems, it might not be a seizure issue at all.

I know for a fact they don't send a letter every time......and yes I am sure that some of the stuff ends up in some of the US(customs) hands for personal use of there own!

yeah, its a board sponser that i ordered from before. got my letter saturday, actually it was 2 seperate packages so i should get the second one this week then ill get him to re-send
