    bodyweight calisthenics

    hey guys ,

    what do you think about bodyweight calisthenics ?

    in what type of physique will they result ? anybody have some kind of a picture that shows what type of physique will results from hardcore PT like seals or special forces ?

    anybody used the book the complete guide to navy seal fitness ??

    what where your results , how did your body change etc ??

    You are looking at being a more leaner toned look. that is if you actually do PT like them, which would be tons of running and humping many miles on top of the workouts. If you just do pushups, situps,pullups, etc... and not as much running,etc...well, you gain muscle hardness, definition, stregnth, agility, but just don't expect to get huge from it...peace!

    no i do not expect to become huge , but have some decent muscle mass lean looking , strong body etc ....

    i need a high performance level coupled with a lean ripped look .

    i dont know how to describe it it hard to explain without pics , its kind of that rambo tough look lol

    all i was able to do in jail was body weight calesthenics.

    push ups. pull ups. dips. curls off of tables. wall squats. jumps. running. and so on.

    and i definitly gained muscle. I actually got the first few inches of my stretch marks while in jail without weights. so you can gain. as long as your diet is good. you can also lean out if you run, jump, jump rope, and diet is good

    alot of guys i knew as i was locked up got big as shit from body weight workouts

    ^^^ duk, he won't gain a whole if he is prepping to get into those units... he will need to put some serious time running, swimming, etc.... very, very difficult to put on any kind of size when running like that.

    If just doing calesthenics without the run, you can put on some muscle.

    yeah but as he states he isnt lookin to be huge. just lean with athletic muscle mass and good performance

    which he can definitly get from what hes thinking of doin. and i dont see him statin that hes actually tryin to get into the seals or such

    nop , i am not getting into the seals , like i said , i want an excellent athletic physique with outstanding performance capabilities.

    plus just one thing i know its not the appropriate section but its related to the thread :

    if i want to cut up and such , can i use ECA while doing them to help tight up a bit ?
