    Big question! Help!

    Okay, I need to get the answer to this from some of you guys with more experience. I am a 17 year old High School football player, and competitive skier. I just recently started taking H-Drol (an exact Halodrol-50 replica) from Competitive Edge Labs. For those of you who don't know, it's not a Steroid, but it is a Prohormone. I'm taking all the support supps, and I have Gaspari Nutrition's Novedex XT for PCT.

    FYI, Here's my line up:
    Weeks 1-3: H-Drol @ 50mg per day.
    Weeks 3-6: Novedex XT @ 2-3 caps per night.
    Weeks 1-6 (Entire time): Milk Thistle, L-Carnitine, L-Lysine, Arginine, Saw Palmetto, Fish Oil, Multi-Vitamin, Vitamin B Complex, and lots of friggen Protein, every day.

    Now here's the big question: As a 17 year old athlete, will this permanently damage my natural hormonal production? Because I've heard that is what will happen now, but, if I was older, and running the same cycle/stack, suppose, as a 25 year old I would be fine.

    Next to my "BIG QUESTION" any advice on anything (PCT, Cycle Support, etc...) would be great! All of your guys' help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, you run the risk of permanently damaging yourself, you are definitely too young.
    What is your height, weight, and body fat%?

    Even though H-drol is not directly a steroid? And also I am done growing. I'm solely worried about my hormones (test, LH, Sex hormone, etc...)?

    are you a doctor?

    just how do you know you are done growing??

    Growth plates don't fuse until you are in your early 20's

    so unless you go get x-rays done to prove yours are fused, then I would suggest you don't risk your health and your future

    Steroids are used when your natural hormones start to decrease as you age

    YOU at 17 have SO much natural hormones running through you , WHY would you want to risk permanently shutting them down when IF you would just learn to eat and workout properly, you could make HUGE gains right now naturally.

    T-MOS, I'm no Doctor, I want to be, but that doesn't count yet. Seriously though, I've had quite a few X-Rays, and yes, my growth plates are fused. My Doc. told me I'm done growing. And you do have a good point, but wont I get much bigger and faster gains this way? Also, it's not like I'm directly hitting hardcore steroids by using this one Prohormone (H-Drol), is it?

    if it fvcks with your HPTA it IS hardcore.....you will be messing with your body's natural chemistry

    risking things you don't need to risk at your age.....

    what are your goals for doing this?

    what does your diet look like

    post up a typical days food intake with times you eat and let us look at that first

    We are only trying to keep you healthy. Ultimately its up to you if you do this or not

    also being 17 you are not really allowed to be on this site, but if you are cool and don't cop an attitude, I am sure they will let you on long enough to give you some good direction

    Alright, but what is the difference between a 17 year old and someone who's older? I mean, obviously at 17 you already have raging hormones. But why wouldn't I see the same results as anyone else and off of a proper cycle have the same recovery back to my baseline?

    its not that you won't see results, but you may not keep most of the gains you make. Depending on diet, training, PCT
    if I shut down my HPTA now, I am not so concerned cause I am 44 and have already had a child, and am old enough to do HRT/TRT if I really need to, you don't want that at 17

    well, i didn't start til I was 35

    by then I had been working out for over 20 years, I knew my body, I competed naturally, so I knew diets inside and out and how my body responded to different changes

    plus I wasn't risking losing an already HIGH flow of hormones in my body which could have lead to libido issues ,erection problems, and having to be on TRT for the rest of my life

    in your mid 20's your hormones start to slowly decrease, and if you have been training , may see your plateau by then, thats when to introduce steroids
    AFTER you have reached your natural potential

    First off thank you. Secondly tonight would be the end of my first week already. I didn't mention that yet. Now for the diet:

    6:45AM: Protein shake (23g) & 4 eggs (3 egg whites, 1 w/yolk). Also, this is when I'll take 25mg of H-Drol, along with my Multi-Vit., B Complex, Fish Oil, & Saw Palmetto.

    9-9:30ishAM: Protein shake (17g) & Bagel w/cream cheese (fatty I know, but I love the stuff).

    11:30AM-12ishPM: Can of tuna (JUST tuna. No mayo., honey mustard, etc...). Maybe I'll put it on some toast.

    2-2:30ishPM: I'll snack on some fruit and maybe have a Hotpocket or something (whatever is around really) & I'll take the other 25mg of H-Drol now along with my Milk Thistle, L-Carnitine, L-Lysine, and Arginine.

    5:00PM: Bowl of pasta with red sauce, and/or some meat (Steak or chicken mostly).

    8-9:00ishPM: I'll end my day's diet with one more protein shake (17g or 23g) or bar (15g), whatever I'm in the mood for.

    As for goals, I'm a High School Athlete. I want to be bigger, faster, stronger, and more aggressive.

    If it's any help, I'm following the BFS (Bigger, Faster, Stronger) Program. Which includes: Mon., Wed., & Fri. are lifting days. I start around 2:00PM and I'm done around 3:30-4:00ishPM. Tue. & Thu. are running days. Again I start around 2:00PM and I'm done around 3:00PM. This program moves in 4 week cycles and so far I have seen great results from it.

    you don't need steroids at this point, your food intake should be your number one concern right now, even with steroids, you need FOOD to grow

    I started doing pro-hormones when I was 17-18, and let me tell you man. Biggest mistake of my life.

    I know suffer from ED and even though im horny as a mother****ker I can never achieve a full erection without the use of viagra.

    I cannot tell you how bad it feels hooking up with a girl and knowing you won't be able to get it up and having to make up an excuse why you can't have sex.

    Not to mention, once you start the pro-hormone game its only a matter of time before you feel like you cannot grow without them and you start looking for something more powerful and it ends up leading to you to steroids.

    I just don't recommend it, benefits are not worth the costs. Permanently lowering your hormonal levels so you can gain 5-10 lbs is not worth it in the end.

    It's your choice to take my advice or not, but I was in that atmosphere once and I know in high school kids experiement with tons of pro-hormones and even steroids and its disappointing because they will pay the costs when they turn older, sometimes they do right away like a kid in high school I knew who got an abscess in his ass from a steroid injection and had to get surgery and now he has a scar.

    Alright. So lets say I finish up this 3 week cycle I'm in the middle of, and make that the end of my Prohormone career (Note that it is my first Prohormone cycle ever.). That shouldn't really affect me, should it? Today ended the first week, and so far, I've noticed nothing adverse. Libido is stable. Positives are, decent strength increase, and I'm feeling a bit more cut up, harder, and fuller. Plus, overall, I feel great. Or would you guys recommend I stop immediately? Of course, I don't want to fvck up my hormonal balance, or fertility or anything. But shouldn't PCT prevent any of that?
