Seeing by other posts it could go both ways. Some get it still and some won't
Depends why they are holding it.
Here in the UK they held one of mine for 30 days (which is the maximum) they were only awaiting a true cost of the goods because the price my supplier put was unrealistic and they assumed i was trying to avoid some customs duty.
it's not coming, if u have tracking then its some kind of express service and seized packages always get stuck at "imbound to customs"

Usually takes 2-3 days, if longer than a week than you can kiss it goodbye most likely unless its a holiday rush or something.
You never know I have had packages come 3-4 weeks late after being held and even opened at customs.
You know, I wonder if the fact that I got Orgenon amps, indtead of a UGL multidose, this time screwed me. I bet the dude sent the box too or something. I'm glad it was a small order.
i think they're talking about a standard mail package that has no tracking info, i have heard of that before, customs opening a package but still not detecting whats inside probably because they don't have time to mess with it and move on to the next package.. if it has a tracking # then it means it is some kind of express-and there is no reason why it would spend that much time at customs, when it gets seized tracking just stops at the last place it was at.
There is no letter yet, however, the tracking still says the same, "inbound to customs." I guess it is seized.
I now have another package from another place. That tracking has been on "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment," since last Friday. How likely is it for a package to get stuck at that status in tracking due to seizure? Does that happen as well?
sounds like that one hasnt been shipped yet
That is according to usps. posta-romana.ro has some dispatch info
Same situation been 5 dyas say "inbound into customs" whats the wait period before I should say forget it?
what really sux is not knowing where your package is at...Only delivery confirmation and no tracking..: / . gay! payed for tracking, and over 3 weeks not knowing where your shit is sux! i'd rather know if it was being held in customs or not.
8 days now "inbound into customs" ..........thinking it's a lost how long have some of you waited?
Thats one reason why I havent ordered from somewhere yet.
In Romania, EVERY package is opened by the customs. That's why I stay away from ordering online, especially from outside the EU.
What coast did you have it shipped to, if you are east coast you are proably fine if you are on the pacific i would say good bye to that pack
I live in the east coast are you saying its easier to get packages where im located.
I'm in the West package sitting in JFK
Good to know.. Learn something new everyday... Glad I live on the east coast now.. Now to find that s***ce...
2 weeks now sitting there time to say goodbye to my "DVD's"
I didn’t realize that I never followed up on this post. I received both packages. The first on came with a bunch of empty gear boxes and a letter form homeland security. Later, I received the official forfeiture letter from customs that gave me my three options. My second package took three weeks but I did get it, gear intact. Domestic tracking did not update until after I received the package.
What were the three options...?
^^ interested myself. LMAO
I should know this. I've gotten several seizure letters over the years.
1. do nothing, forfeit the gear.
2. Contest it.
3.....?
Anyway, you always just do nothing and cut your losses.
Humm... I never actually physically ordered anything over the internet... but you mean to tell me if I order something. And it's seized all they will do is send me a cute letter? In which everything gets forgotten about unless i so to say "contest it"?
I always thought a fed would come knocking on my door...... LOL
Hell I can't even get away with not wearing my seat belt.... but they let that slide and just confiscate it?
Made a order on April 1st and it said inbound into customs until it was at my door.
how do the dvds usually come packed in a box? my cousin wants to send me some movies but due to copyright stuff i want him to pack it neatly some how. can you guys give me some input on how i should have him pack it. im on the east coast... pm me some suggestions please!!!!!
based on this thread I guess I can assume my stuff was siezed. my source sent the the first package on april 7th and the second on april 9th. the first package tracking info reads
Your item arrived in the United States in ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) at 8:47 PM on April 10, 2009. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
I got the second one on the 18th like someone stated above the only track info avaliable is whats written above and the date it gets delivered. thats if its delivered. this sux ass. sunday makes it a month since it arrived in the country.![]()
And you still haven't received a letter or anything?
don't think i would sign. i would just let it go.
Mothers day is this Sunday. This time of the year is second only to Christmas for deliveries. Could be the problem, but I believe Customs can hold an item for up to one calendar month. All you can do is sweat it out and wait.
