to avoid plateus you should change up rep ranges.. so i generally follow higher reps during cut, and lower reps during bulk. diet and cardio is always implemented. do you have a set cardio rotiuine?

im glad i asked.. im hoping that you want to preserve/gain as much muscle mass as possible while effeectively shedding fat? -IF so, the routrine of prolonged high intensity cardio PWO will yield negative results, hence using muscle as energy unless you are carb up, alot.

good stuff cheers 4 the link.... 1 more point i coppied this out of the link............THE FACT IS THAT WHILE USING CARDIO ALONE, AND WHILE ON A STRICT DIET, YOUR MUSCLE WILL BE CANNABLIZED AND USED FOR ENERGY INSTEAD OF FAT SINCE THE BODY WILL DESIRE TO MAINTAIN FAT FOR SURVIVAL DURING THE EXISTING LOW CALORIE DIET.

is this saying i shud be on low cals? i am 17%bf

if you want to lose weight you will have to put yourself in a caloric deficient state.. what that statement is saying is that WITHOUT RESISTANCE TRAINING (WEIGHTS), and CALORIC DEFICIENT, your muscle will be utilized as energy instead of fat.
