    chest/back workouts

how do you guys run chest/back routines in your workouts. normally i'll do all of chest then at the end of my chest workout do my regular back workout. does anyone do a set of a certain chest exercise then do a set of a back exercise? like compound sets.

I would never do that. Wouldn't have the energy, or time to hit back and chest in the same day. But if you must, I would do 3 exercises for each, and superset them.

    ^Agreed

I have a friend who does Incline, Flat, Flies. And supersets with Deads, Lat Pull downs, cable rows. Personally, I don't like it, but its your decision.

i sometimes superset a set of chest and back and rest for double the time. i dont feel the fatigue factor you get used to it and there are many benefits of doing it. aiding in removal of lactic acid, aids in shuttling nutrients, increasing bloodflow, quicker workouts, stretching one while working the other.. great IMO

that's usually how i do it but just wanted to hear what other peoples opinions were. i havent done a chest/back workout in a few months. usually it's chest/shoulder/tris or just chest/tris...then back/bis.

but im lookin forward to gettin that full upperbody pump and feeling like a beast.

Honestly, I find I get the best results and the best workout by sticking to separate body parts each workout except legs I do whenever.

    I do only chest,
    only back
    only bicept
    only tricept
on separate days throwing in abs and legs anywhere.
