    Toning up the legs

    Hey,

    I'm looking for ideas on leg exercises to TONE up my legs.
    I'm not trying to put muscle on my legs - just want to get rid of the body fat on them.

    I was thinking something like this:

    First I would go jogging for 30-45minutes
    Then I would go to the gym....

    8 sets of wide legged squats with a light weight. Having very good form.
    5 sets of hip abduction (burn fat off my butt)
    and 3 sets of leg curls.

    how does that sound?

    Like I said - I'm just doing it to burn fat off my legs. I'm not interested in having ultra strong legs.

    Diet will be far more responsible for toning your legs than what exercises you choose. Your legs are more than likely already very "tone" it's just they dont appear that way when covered with bodyfat.

    like it's been said 1000s of time, you cant spot reduce. Diet.

    To tone stick with cardio, treadmill, bike and elliptical.

    HIT cardio 2 times a week should help with lowering the bodyfat. I notice a difference in my hamstrings whenever i start doing HIT cardio.
