    Some help from the advanced

    just getting back into the gym in the last month or so
    my weight is about 275, i am 6'2 bodyfat probbaly around 25-30
    my workout consistes of
    day 1
    bench press
    x10@265
    x8@275
    x6@285
    chest butterfly
    3x10 @6
    i do this for three sets coming from the bottom, then three sets coming from the top, then three sets comign from the center
    3x10 overhead tricept extention with 55 dumbell
    3x10 tricept extentsion with 100 pounds
    3x10 bicept curls 70 then 80 then 80
    then out the the side curls on cables 3x10 at 70
    shoulder press
    3x10@75 each arm
    shoulder shrugs
    3x10@ 85 dumbell
    day 2
    squats
    10@315
    10@315
    10@365
    leg curl
    3x10@ 100
    leg @190
    Leg press
    10@450
    10@540
    10@60


    take 1 day off and repeat

    i need help with everything. tweak the workout to make it better
    i dont have a back workout in the routine yet.
    should i add it in as a third day and extend it to 3 on 1 off then repeat?

    look at this site for some basic routines

    you can have all different types of split workout training but since you just getting back in, 1 bodypart a workout is good so you figure out how long you can last and just an over all assesment of where you are. When you get more into it you wont need to make one day just for back insted you can do back/bi's or back/shoulders and shit like that. But look through that site.

    I keep reading these work out routines. Its also Important to listen to your body. If you go into the gym even after you took a day off you might be sore and need another day. Or the opposite you might go to the gym with the mind set of following your list but one muscle feels great and therefore needs a hard working.

    I'm not a pro or a trainer so take this with a grain of salt, but it works for me. After a while your body will tell you what you need to do.
