Creatine Phosphokinase is also known as Creatine Kinase and is a enzyme. It is present in heart, brain and muscle cells. Normally it is restricted to the cell, but when they are damaged they leak out the enzyme. There are a plethora of conditions that can cause an elevation in CK. There are specific isoforms that can be tested for that show which tissue CK is causing an elevation in the enzyme.

Did they give you a specific isoform of the Enzyme they tested for???

No,doc is sending me to a specialist on the 16th. I am trying to find out as much as I can in the meanwhile. I was in a serious motorcycle accident a year and a half ago,but even before that when working out ie. bench press, when i stood up and looked in the mirror i had blue circles the size of quaters come to the surface of my skin all over my chest. Really weird, but i never felt bad. Now I am always tired, disorientated, hot, night sweats. Feel like crap 24/7.
