    hard labor crew

Anyone else here do hard labor for a living? I'm going to change up my routine and am trying to decide if I should workout before or after work.

Morning worked better for me when I was pouring concrete.

Kets your blood pumping on cold days

Never could force myself into the gym after a 90+ drgree day either

I still have a labor intensive job, but get to go during my lunch hour. I prefer it over any other time.

sometimes when i lift before, my muscles are just too exhausted to keep up at work. Sometimes the muscle that i just worked in the gym starts to spasm at work because it is just too much. ever had that problem?

    All the time.

I'm an auto tech. Sometimes I get pumps from turning wrenches. It can get real old real fast.

What do you like more, the workouts or your job? I'm a carpenter/ ironworker, and if I work out before work, it shows! I have to let my body tell me what it wants. It's hard to be pretty when you're broke. The question a lot of us have to ask is: how much does this mean to me? We are not all professional body builders. Most of us are regular guys trying to do the best we can. Keep that in mind.
    I hope this helps.
