    my before and after ( bulk )

    hey guys, i got some before and after pics of myself, im still a little high bodyfat % but im fine with that , i plan on cutting in a months time.
    5'10
    Before stats :body weight 160lbs
    bench 100x 6
    deadlift 185x 5
    squat 135x 6

    After stats:
    bench 245x 4
    deadlift 400x 3
    squat 290 x 4
    bodyweight 225lbs

    well you def gained a lot of weight, i would start watching your diet now. You do not want to put on to much extra fat, its just not needed. Plus when you start stripping down that fat your probably gunna lose some muscle so not is the time to get that diet in check. how old are you?

    17, yeah i was really interested in powerlifting. although i have no interest in AAS i still think this forum packs alot of good information. So i guess i should make a post in the nutrition section and get it all in track ?

    Definitely at your age you can make someeee hugeeeee strides in everything in the next couple years, just keep utilizing this web site for all its info and learning and you will be a beast. Definitely go hit up the diet section. How long was this bulk time period? and did you grow taller during this time? that seems to be a ton of weight.

    10 months my friend, i am still the same height. i love being bigger , now its time though to clean up the slopp haha.

    I would guess you are on the wrong side of 20% on the bodyfat. I am afraid once you diet down and get to where you used to be you are going to find the vast majority of weight you gained was fat.

    yeah, would it be alright to diet down'' , by basically eating clean again reducing carb intake? or shall we get right down and get into the technical side of things.

    i have to agree with fireguy, it looks like you got bigger, but not necissarily a solid weight gain. i looks like u matured more than got BIGGER. you def need to clean up your diet and start a cardio regime to get rid of a lot of that fat. start now and in a few months ull be surprised

    starting tommarow. 20 minutes after a workout intervals on a tredmill good ? i hope not to burn too much muscle. my goal is not too be as ripped as your picture vish but more toned.

    Nah you want to be looking in the range of 30-45mins bro. Also get over to the diet section...although im not sure how long your stay will be here

    watch that you dont gain too much fat, we all get a bit fat during a big bulk but you want to make sure that the muscle gained is superior to the fat gained

    How can you honestly be proud of that? I'm not meaning to bash or sound negative but it looks like all the weight you gained was fat. Were almost better off before. What were you eating to gain 65 pounds like that?

    ^^^ I have to agree with the above post. Again, not to be mean at all, but you look more bloated than muscular. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but definitely get your diet in check. At your age, you have the potential to be a beast!

    I would do lower weight but higher reps. Pushups,situps,chinups are some various exercises that can be done.
