    Need to bring up weak points

    My weakest points by far are chest and arms. My strong points are Legs and shoulders; my back is neither bad nor excellent. 5'8 180 13% fat. I have always trained heavy and with a semi power lifting style so I would still like to have squats and deads in my routine since they are my favorite exercises but I would like to bring up the weak points for a bodybuilding competition. Any input on designing a split would be great.

    youl be better off posting up your routine that you are curently doing mate.....that way people will be able to see if you are under/over training and other useful info.

    DB Military 2x4-6
    BB Shrug 2x6-8
    CG Bench 2x6-8

    Squat 4x5
    Deadlift 4x5
    Leg Ext 3x6-8
    Calf Raise 5x6-8

    off

    back chest
    12sets of back reps 8-12
    10sets of chest

    legs
    12 sets of legs reps 8-12
    6 sets of calves

    shoulders arms reps 8-12
    8 sets of bis
    8 sets of tris
    10sets of shoulders/traps

    how long have you been doing this routine for mate?

    I did it for a year straight during 08-09 then took a break then did a straight hypertrophy workout for a few months then did a strength w/o for a few months and now I am a week into this one again.

    Its a great routine however I really just need to bring up those 2 weaks points

    well i cant really help with the chest,,,im having problems bringing mine up to scratch and im trying dif things........i def noticed improvements in my arms doing only 2 sets for bis and tris.....and def improvements when i added in floor presses for tris!
