I've read tons of threads on this forum and i decided to take HIIT cardio over Low intensity, simply because its a bit more exciting and i dont have the time to do 45-1 hour of LI cardio. I'm starting to do 3 sessions per week at 20 mins each, overtime ill go for 25+ and 4-5x a week. If someone could just give me a straightforward answer to these couple q's id appreciate it.

1) Since HIIT is better for the post cardio burning than low intensity, should i be consuming carbs directly after my cardio and if not how long until i should have carbs in my next meal?

2) I know theres a ton of debate on this but, is it fine to just do my HIIT cardio anytime during the day? For instance on one of my off lifting days mid day just go hop on the treadmill and do it?
